We are looking for a Portfolio Manager to join our IT team that will be responsible for leading key IT initiatives for M|C Communications.
The qualified candidate will have the ability to guide our multi-disciplinary business and technology teams through analysis, specification, design, development and deployment as a core part of our business strategy.
S/he will act as a project manager, business analyst and software architect consulting with users and business groups to deliver critical IT solutions to various business teams.
The qualified candidate will provide technical consulting on complex projects, formulating and defining system scope and objectives.
S/he will be responsible for writing documentation describing program development, logic, coding and corrections.
S/he will lead technical architecture and design efforts in the ongoing specification and implementation of business applications assuring that application development efforts meet business requirements and integrate with enterprise architecture, performance and interoperability standards.
The IT Portfolio Manager will manage business and process analysis to help define solutions to improve business processes via the use of information technology.

Experience/Skills

Qualified candidates will have a BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or MIS and a minimum of four years of work experience including as least one to two years of project leadership roles, and business and application analysis.  Experience with some of the following technologies is highly desirable: Microsoft Visual Studio.Net including C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net and ADO.Net.  Relational databases including MC SQL Server.  Ability to compose SQL queries and develop reports using tools such as Cognos Powerplay and Crystal Reports is required as is experience with database scripting using Transact SQL.  Previous experience with Microsoft Project or equivalent project planning software is desirable.  Understanding of N-Tier architecture development, web infrastructure and security services, as well as enterprise application integration using third-party systems and middleware tools is required.  Experience with Java and J2EE environments is strongly preferred as is experience with either Interwoven’s Teamsite or Interwoven’s Worksite MP document management software or similar enterprise ECM products.  The qualified candidate will have strong business and technical writing skills, excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to be a team player with customer oriented focus.
