Trasys, LLC, recently ranked #165 in the Inc 500 is currently seeking an Information Technology Process Engineer (Six Sigma) in the Lake Zurich, IL (N. Chicago) area.

Job Description:

-Develops Business Operational Processes and Procedures for Network and Data Center Services.
-Develop and deploy process improvements.
-Facilitates the use of Lean Six Sigma process strategy within the organization.
-Initiates and facilitates process development and deployment activities focused on improving overall processes and related issues including process development, measurement, creating process flows, related documentation and process deployment and associated metrics. Analyze and engineer both existing and new IT services operational processes, problem solving, utilizing lean six sigma process management.
-Consults with business staff to develop understanding of the varied and complex business needs required for our services. Responsible for determining how changing business needs will affect the existing or new processes. Understands the role of the process management in the big picture and provides ideas and recommendations regarding the evolution of our process strategy.
-Responds to questions and influences the organization regarding current and potential service inputs, processes, and outputs. Conducts research and analysis into the nature, effect and results of process problems.
-Develops detailed process requirements, documentation, workflow procedures. Negotiates plans, time frames and trade-offs while ensuring the final results of the process development and deployment effort.
-Initiates process change requests and develops detailed specifications for implementation of process changes and communicates process changes and issues as required.
-Ensures current and accurate system documentation, coordinates and or performs testing of process modifications, and develops, provides, or coordinates process training, educational tools and materials.
-Mentors team Green Belts on process improvement projects and in the Lean Six Sigma methodology, leveraging ITIL principles for solutions where feasible.

Education :

Four year college degree in a technical field related to Information Management Services

Six Sigma Black Belt

Experience :

4 years Experience in product/process development in similar IT environment or services organization preferred.

1 year experience as a Six Sigma Black Belt

ITIL certification preferred.
