Assignment Capsule
As a Supplemental Product Development Process Manager, you will analyze, create, improve and implement new products and technology for multi-channel consumers. This role will act as Product Development Owner for all IT project development.

  • Act in leadership role for product development on IT projects
  • Facilitate the exploration, development, execution and implementation of key business requirements for various applications and products
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications in order to create detailed requirements of various applications and products
  • Drafting of and input on use cases to be used in IT development of business projects
  • Review requirement details with business partners, provide feedback and /or comments and troubleshoot implementation issues
  • Prioritize development of application or product work requests and/ or change controls and maintain complete documentation to support requests and prioritization
  • Act as business leader through both Humana IT development methodologies (Waterfall and Agile) project life cycles for supplemental products
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and document observations and/or concerns related to the development of products
  • Contribute to business planning and product prioritization

    Role Essentials:
  • 5-7 years managing complex, multiple lines of business projects
  • Prior experience in direct to consumer market, healthcare IT project development, or supplemental products
  • Experience with Agile development methodology significant plus
  • Confident, self-directed, experienced multi-project leader
  • Evidence of managing and communicating with multiple senior level stakeholders
  • Ability to concisely articulate costs and benefits of IT development alternatives
  • Skilled in detail design and process documentation
  • Ability to think in terms of process and function
