Description
The Siebel IT Project Manager role leads Siebel project and development efforts, communication with CRM customers, working with direct reports, working with financials, supporting production applications, providing estimates on new initiatives, mentoring team members, determining development and maintenance priorities, work with the user community, review of business requirements, review designs and batch processes. Responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities of Siebel project efforts, providing cost estimates for future Siebel initiatives.Leading / coaching team members in project activities.Works with Business Analyst, Users and Developers to choose optimal solution to user group needs.


Responsible for the identification, allocation and setup of all equipment necessary to support special retail opportunities.
Responsible for the coordination and implementation of Siebel projects / upgrades.
Uses initiative in maintaining up-to-date technical skills and knowledge of vendor offerings.
Assist in preparation of Project Authorization Requests by providing information regarding resource and schedule needs
Maintains financial information for projects.
Exhibits creativity and initiative in daily work.
Prepares project status reports for Management.
Prepares / provides demonstrations of the application.
Responsible for /reviewing maintaining triage documentation for the West Coast based Siebel applications.
Works within the LCM (Lifecycle Methodology)
Administrative responsibilities for direct reports.


Qualfications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field preferred, or a corresponding number of years experience in Information Technology.A minimum of 5 or more years experience with Siebel development efforts.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Proven strong backgruound in CRM applications, specifically Siebel.Demonstrated coaching and leaderships skills.Strong skills in Siebel Call Center and SFA application environments.Solid understanding of Sieble 7.8 and 8.x and SQL.Strong leadership, analytical and problem solving skills.Strong oral, writing and listening communicatiosn skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.Ability to communicate clearly in written documentation.Excellent time management and organization skills.Self-motivated, results -oriented in learning and applying new technologies.df-tc
