Genesis10 is seeking a Project Manager in Milwaukee for a 6 month contract.

This is in an IT business operational support area. The particular area supports our Employee Benefits product line (provide retirement plans, disability insurance, FSA plans, etc. to CU employees).

That area is short staffed for IT managers and they have a number of business initiatives and smaller IT focused projects for which they need some Project Manager help.

These are not your large scale, $2M projects, but a number of smaller initiatives that would be going on at the same time.

Important skills beyond your basic core technology delivery PM stuff are customer relationship and communication skills, quick decision making and multi-tasking across a number of projects.

Experience/Skills
Senior Project Manager

4 yr college degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or Management Information Systems

IT application development experience
Within the last 5 years:

3 years engagement experience managing large scale, complex projects with multiple dependencies ( >$2M budget with at least 15 concurrent project members)

Experience using earned value management techniques for tracking and communicating project performance

Experience gathering and presenting project progress and success metrics for executive level reporting

PMP certification preferred

Demonstrated superior knowledge of the entire Software Development Lifecycle

Expert level business process modeling experience

Proven ability to clearly and effectively communicate business and technical information, both verbally and in writing

Proven ability to project lead a cross-functional, multi-location project team

Vendor management experience preferred

Experience tracking and managing projects with MS Project Server
