Description
Provide project management for various Information Technology Projects for Customer Applications Delivery IT. The project management work could include full lifecycle software development as well as other types of application projects. Business function includes various customer information and billing systems.

Description of the work to be performed:
Individual will serve in a project management role for IT projects following our standard solution delivery process and IT standards. They will be responsible for working in partnership with a business project manager, in most cases, to implement successful projects. The individual will be responsible for negotiating with the business to control scope, cost and schedules for assigned projects. They will also prepare cost estimates, project schedules and detail work plans, make work assignments and monitor performance and quality for the assigned projects and provide status to sponsors and key stakeholders.

Competencies:
1. Experience with mainframe software development=09
2. Experience with VB and/or java software development
3. Business Process analysis, strong business acumen (desired)
4. Understands technical systems and high level architecture design=09
5. Strong facilitation leadership and communication skills
6. IT Solution Development Life-cycle - Proven track record in managing application development projects through a defined systems life-cycle methodology.
7. Project Management skills (5+ years experience)=09
8. Experience in coordinating and reviewing the work of others.
9. Electric Utility Experience (desired)
10. Good negotiation skills
