Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technologies professionals, has an immediate opening for a IT Project Manager in Charlotte, NC with a leading Global Technology Provider.






Job Purpose/Description:


The PMO/PSO develops, trains, reports, and governs the Project/Program Management, Resource Management, and SDLC practice and process. The PMO/PSO purpose is to create and maintain a foundation for consistent IT project success throughout the organization by developing and maintaining strong and pervasive Project Management (PM), Resource Management (RM), Business Analyst and System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) disciplines within the project teams.


Tasks and Responsibilities:

Role: Member of the that provides services in support of:
* The enterprise Standard Project Methodology and Governance and SDLC including project portfolio governance and resource management
* Requirements and Business Analysis Center of Excellence (BA COE) that focuses on improving the quality, consistency and governance of requirements definition in the organization
* Work Intake, work flow and deliverable pipeline
* Metrics measurement and performance reporting
* Budget and financial planning and reporting
* The comprehensive documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and standards, including the definition and mapping of all processes
* Training resources on comprehensive SOPs
* Governance and enforcement of standards and reporting requirements


Required education/experience:

* Project Management and PMO/PSO experience
* At least 8 years of solid PMI Project Management Methodology experience, preferably in the financial services/investments sectors.
* PMI PMP certification
* Expert in Computer Associates Clarity and Open Workbench
* Experience with SDLC and Project Management Lifecycle principles and methodologies
* Process oriented. CMMI, ITIL, and Six Sigma experience a plus
* Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Knowledge of SharePoint a plus
* Experience with requirements definition and business analysis best practices a plus
* Knowledge of Borland CaliberRM a plus
* Knowledge of Borland StarTeam a plus
* Budget & financial reporting experience
* Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited school in related areas
* Personal qualities include a strong work ethic, self-starter, team player, analytical and creative, a focus on customer service, high level of energy, enthusiasm, excellent interpersonal skills along with superior written and verbal communication skills, efficient with time and resources, leadership skills, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task.
