Description
Manages all aspects of the recruiting process, to include sourcing candidates, managing and coordinating external recruiters, screening candidates, interviewing, coordinating hiring process with teams.
Works with team leaders to define position and develop tools to facilitate sound hiring practices
Coaches and develops anyone involved in the hiring process to develop and improve effective recruiting and interviewing skills
Develops and manages advertising, including identifying sources and writing effective ad copy
Orients new employees
Develops a healthy organizational culture and assists in the resolution of team/employee concerns and issues

Expected short-term results (specific tasks to be accomplished 3-6 months):
Gain a thorough understanding of the business, culture and history
Establish solid working relationships with key employees, with a focus on team leaders who are hiring for open positions
Establish working relationships with external recruiters
Take ownership of recruiting for assigned open positions.

Long term (6-18 months):
Manage all phases of recruiting
Establish contact and build relationships with all employees
Work with Director of HR to develop and implement organizational and team development initiatives
Examine and refine orientation program to improve effectiveness


Required Skills:
Product Familiarity and Technical Knowledge:

Strong knowledge and skill with Microsoft office suite, including Excel
Demonstrated understanding of HR laws, standards, and compliance issues


Educational Experience
Bachelors degree in human resources, business, or psychology or related field preferred; advanced degree a plus

Minimum three to five years experience in HR or as a manager with HR responsibilities, some of which should include technical recruiting or working in a technical environment

Certification (e.g. PHR, SPHR) a plus
