Description
BANKING Provides guidance, direction, and authority for security activities on mainframe, Internet and distributed network platforms for Compass Bank. Develops and implements appropriate security strategies on mainframe computing assets utilizing internal security models including RACF and Fidelity software. Makes decisions on implementations concerning appropriate and/or best practice security architecture and policy. Manages Internet Intrusion Detection and response process including all Intrusion Detection hardware and software installation, upgrades, and on-going maintenance, as well as third party point of contact for any Internet Security Breach. Performs a lead roll in reacting to and securing any Internet Security Breach. Functions as the technical data security expert for mainframe initiatives. Also provides guidance on Internet, Intranet, and local area networks.

Requirements:

BS/BA in computer science, information systems, business, or equivalent. Must be proficient with IBM Mainframe architecture and RACF Security models, Microsoft Windows technology including security architecture and administration (installation, configuration, and administration). This should include 3-4 years hands-on experience. Must possess understanding of Internet architectures, methodologies, and processes. This should include 2-3 years hands-on experience. Must possess understanding of TCP/IP protocol. Must possess understanding of Internet Intrusion Detection systems. Understanding of security issues relative to third party applications, relational databases, email, modems & remote access, VPNs, and PC Operating Systems. Must understand security issues related to e-business initiatives.
