Description
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Security consulting to HR and Business Unit groups and clients as appropriate.

Primary BU Liason with Global Information Security and contact with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies on information security exposures/incidents as appropriate.

Managing vendor relationships.

Development of overall information security policy, standards, guidelines and procedures with BU.

Development/oversight of security awareness programs within BU.

Involvement in, either directly or in an oversight capacity, all information security solutions considered and implemented by Convergys HRM.

Project management for Convergys Information Security, acting as a subject matter expert on information security architecture.

Making company management aware of world-wide trends, threats, vulnerabilities and their possible effect on Convergy by keeping up-to-date on such issues, as well as current, new and pending legislation dealing with information security and its possible effect on Convergys and our clients.

Evaluate present and proposed computer systems environments and convey information concerning security exposures that might result to appropriate management.
Support internal and external audit activities as necessary

Consult with RU to implement adequate security controls within the infrastructure, systems, and applications to meet BU and Client requirements.

Ability to travel as necessary for face to face meetings with the client and other business owners
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Locations: Jacksonville, FL or New Brunswick, NJ

Education & Professional Certifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in related technical discipline and six years relevant experience
OR
Master’s Degree in related technical discipline and four years relevant experience
OR
Eleven years relevant experience without college degreedf-tc
