Thoughtmill, a Division of ASC, is currently seeking a qualified IT Security Consultant to join our team in Columbus, GA for a 4 - 6 month opportunity.

Job Duties

Create a Distributed Emergency ID Process. Development of an Emergency ID deployment process to facilitate On Call support access to resolve production system problems is essential and must be completed prior to any security changes.

Revise Services Operating Security. Evaluate service accounts access, remove Local Admin service utilization and assign non-Local Admin userids for services operation. This would be done in a phased approach and in collaboration with the impacted IT resources either owning or supporting the various application systems under consideration.

Remove SYST and PROD Developer Access. Remove all SYST and PROD developer access from, at a minimum, the 7 identified application systems plus 30 identified systems in the distributed environments. Create a process that requires documentation of access needs and approvals prior to restoration of any security level.

Skills and Requirements:

Competent understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy Objects.
Competent understanding of NT/2000 security mechanisms.
Competent understanding of NT/2000 audit mechanisms.
Competent understanding of Hyena, dumpSEC, dumpACL, dumpREG and similar tools.
Competent understanding of NT/2000 server O/S.
Competent understanding of IIS and web servers.
