Position Overview

Leading a team of resources to re-engineer both the Consumer websites and Dealer websites onto a new web platform, transform existing Business Unit websites to the new web platform, incorporating the new branding strategy into the new web platform, extending the websites into partners and OEMs, co-developing the strategy for enhancements, and all development, deployment, and successful transition to the support organization. The successful candidate will have 10-15 years of relevant IT experience in the area of eCommerce, website redesigns, website enhancements, strategy development, and eCommerce technologies. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Evidence of previous supplier management experience is required.

Job PurposeResponsible for managing personnel and results of complex and/or multiple work team(s) across IT functions and ensures work performed adheres to company standards and is compliant with business requirements. Reviews and evaluates the performance of the work team(s) and of the individuals on the teams. Ultimately accountable for project deliverables, budgets, schedules and quality. Managerial impact is primarily centered around the work teams. Serves as an interface with IT and business partners. This role is broadly subject to functional policies and goals and/or managerial direction. Accountable for determining how and when the results of one or more work teams will be achieved. Financial and budgetary responsibilities are dependent upon project scopes.

Level ScopeUses a broad and deep understanding of technical concepts in multiple specialized fields to develop solutions to problems and critical design issues. Work assignments are typically focused on critical products for the organization. Works independently and will likely supervise the work of lower level personnel.df-tc


Experience/Skills
Education and Experience BS/BA or equivalent; 10 + years of related experience; 3 years of management experience

Capabilities (1) Ability to supervise staff and make personnel decisions
(2) Ability to manage complex and/or multiple projects
(3) Ability to articulate the company's business requirements and objectives and translate those into IT solutions
(4) Ability to effectively communicate IT issues and recommendations to senior level management within and outside of IT
(5) Broad technical knowledge of several IT functions
(6) Ability to determine how and when the result of the work team(s) will be achieved
