IT Service Delivery Manager

The Information Technology Service Support Manager will apply advanced creative, analysis and technology skills and will demonstrate highly competent customer service skills in their interactions with the NPR community. They will maintain IT standards and policies as well as make recommendations and lead improvements in these areas. They will take ownership of helpdesk and support services and the processes needed to maintain operations to a very high level of quality and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills

A) Management of local and remote staff

B) Supporting PC hardware and commercial PC applications

C) Providing network and systems administration in a multi-platform computing environment

D) Proficiency in the MS Suite of end user applications

E) Demonstrated success supporting a mix of COTS and custom applications

F) Must have excellent organizational, managerial, presentation and human relations skills, and demonstrated proficiency at effective verbal and written communication.

Required Experience

Bachelor's degree (preferably in a computer or engineering-related field) or a combination of education and equivalent computer-related work experience required. Minimum 5-7 years experience in user support, customer service, or other relevant fields and minimum of 3-5 years of progressively responsible management experience in service desk/ help desk environments. Effective verbal and written communication skills are a necessity. Demonstrated decision-making, organizational and analytical skills needed. Experience with industry standard service frameworks (ITIL, CoBIT, etc) preferred.
