We are currently seeking an experienced IT Service Management professional in our Providence, RI location.

Job Role:
  • Ensure consistent application of our Standard Operational Practices
  • Initiate the Problem Management process for high impacting incidents, related incidents unsuccessful changes and missed Service Level commitments
  • Collaborate with functional teams and other Service Managers to improve service delivery.
  • Review incident, problem, and request aging and work with assignee group managers to ensure compliance with process guidelines
  • Facilitate regularly scheduled Change Management meetings and resolve change schedule conflicts
  • Generate and distribute operational and leadership reports
  • Act as liaison between the accounts based support teams and the Global Service Management organization
  • Conduct workshops to identify assess and address process deficiencies, ensure common understanding of process intention and operation
  • Maintaining OPAS configuration data
  • Perform Service Level Reporting to Management
  • Conducting standard and refresher training for Perot Systems

  • Good Presentation and Written Communication Skills (communicating with various levels within the organization appropriately)

    To be considered, applicants should have a minimum of 5 years Information Technology services experience, knowledge of industry-standard service support processes (incident management, change management, request management, and problem/issue management). The candidate must demonstrate a strong understanding and knowledge of Information Technology, included Data Center Operations, Distributed Server platforms, Network Operations and Application Development.

    Additionally, the individual we seek must have the ability to develop and present clear oral and written communications coupled with the ability to work with multiple levels of internal and client management. Project management and Crystal Reports knowledge is highly desired, with ITIL certification a definite plus.
