Job Title: IT Support Analyst (Desktop and HelpDesk)

Keys of the position:
1 year contract position

Job Description:
-50/50 breakdown of helpdesk and desktop support, cand's must have experience in both roles
-3 person helpdesk, 25 calls a day, handle SW and HW issues including printers
-provide tier 1 support for lotus notes
-will use Asset Navigator Ticketing System
-occassional overtime, off hrs
-work rotating shifts for off hrs support(M-F 6-9 PM, 15 hrs/week every 3 to 4 weeks)

Addtional Description:
This positions primary responsibility is providing tier one support for all Eisai applications, Windows XP, and IBM laptop / desktop computers. Candidates will provide support through the helpdesk ticket system, telephone, manage ticket queue and call escalation.

Additional responsibilities include:

- Manage / maintain network printers.

- Build and rollout business systems as per EGC US Standards

- Image computers using Symantec Ghost

- Troubleshoot software, hardware and connectivity issues.

- Work with vendor technical support.

- Create user accounts and password resets.

- Work closely with Site Services on interoffice moves and various other projects/tasks.

- Occasional off hour support is also required.

Qualifications:

- Candidate must have minimum of 3 years

- Experience with HP, Canon and Richo printers

- Two - three yrs. exp with Microsoft productivity applications and operating systems.

- 2-3 yrs. exp. with IBM Hardware, Ghost and Norton Anti Virus

- Must have excellent communication skills to work closely with Eisai user community

- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.

Pluses

- Experience with Lotus Notes client

- Experience with working in a validated environment (Pharma)

- Experience with audio/video equipment including video conferencing.
