IT Support Specialist - Philippi, WV Immediate need for a full-time, entry-level IT Support Specialist in Philippi, WV. The primary focus of this position is to provide technical support to a small staff in an office environment, support for remote users while they travel, and be the first line of support for on-site technical issues. This position will also assist with the planning, implementation, expansion, and administration of the corporate data and voice network. Responsibilities: Provide end-user support for hardware and software Provide support for QuickBooks Administrative Software Support of office equipment Provides network support Assists with/coordinates installation of data/voice network infrastructure (Cat 5 cabling, patch panels, switches, etc) Assists with the expansion of the data network, including the implementation of servers, workstations, laptops, and PDA's Conducts backups of user data Provides phone system support Ability to create detailed technical documentation for end-users Conducts data collection, manipulation, analysis, and reporting Requirements: Minimum 1 year of desktop support, helpdesk, or related IT specialty preferred Advanced knowledge of Windows based computers Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2003 products (Including Microsoft Access), Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Professional Proficiency in Windows XP Professional and Windows XP Home Operating Systems Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
