Description
Boston Architect firm is seeking to hire a Systems Administrator to join their IT Team for the role of IT Support Specialist/Systems Administrator - MCSE.In this role the Systems Administrator will be responsible for:- Maintaining, monitoring, updating and supporting computer workstations in a Windows based environment. - Previous experience with SAN storage is necessary. - Must be well versed with Disaster Recovery.Ideally will have: - Advanced knowledge of Norton Ghost or a similar product, for developing images.- Designing most efficient ways of deploying these images to update and rotate desktop systems.- Maintaining current software and hardware assets with digital auditing software.- Managing Symantec Enterprise Antivirus console and monitoring to ensure the desktops are receiving the latest definitions.- Researching and implementing a company wide Helpdesk system.- Advanced knowledge of Group Policies as a tool for automating rapid deployments of msi packages, printers etc.- Advanced knowledge of login scripts, batching, and other automated tools and procedures.- Researching and implementing software deployment and packaging tools.- Administering the current PBX phone system.
