Description
Technology firm in Morristown area has a contract to hire opportunity for an IT Support Specialist. This position will report to the IT Director. Responsibilities include: providing phone and desktop support troubleshooting for Windows XP, MS Office and standard Adobe applications ( .pdf troubleshooting, Photoshop ); basic Windows 2003 server troubleshooting; basic Active Directory functions. Position will also involve intranet/website support and E-mail account management.This position will require occasional overtime and domestic and international travel up to 2-3 times a year.The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of IT support experience, preferably handling a combination of help desk, desktop and server troubleshooting. Candidate must be comfortable acting as the sole IT support person for this location. Must be organized, proactive and able to work well with different personality styles. Must be available for occasional overtime and be able to travel domestically and internationally 2-3 times per year.
