Description
The support technicians will be responsible for performing desk side technical support for Windows XP and Office Professional software applications. Support will include troubleshooting and basic repair of software and hardware issues. Additional software to be supported may include Visio and MS Project. The Contractor technicians will also provide basic
hardware support to the desktop, i.e. moves, hardware delivery, set up, and accessory installations & replacements.

Services To Be Performed
receive daily direction and management from
the client. Desk side services provided to Imperial Irrigation District will include the following:

Desk side Software Support basic level of software
support)

Basic software issues around Windows operating systems and Windows Office Applications such as opening programs, checking for network connectivity, rebooting, loading basic Windows applications, etc.

Escalate the more technical or skill building support needs to management for the assignment of senior technicians

The above examples are not all inclusive but examples of the type of basic entry-level software support needed by the clients end-users.

Provide adequate documentation and detail on call tickets as required by client

Desk side Hardware Support
Assist with the moving of desktop computers between end-users

Deliver and set up new desktop computers

Deliver and Install basic peripherals or devices for the end-user such as printers, cards, and other common devices

Escalate the more technical or skill building support needs to management for the assignment of senior technicians
