IT Systems Administrator

Growing, reputable, full-service investment firm seeking highly qualified, motivated, hard working IT Systems Administrator professional with a minimum of 3 + years experience in the securities industry.

Responsibilities:

-         Oversee all IT related purchases and budgeting

-         Develop IT methods, procedures, and standards for the company

-         Keep current with emerging technology and new software that will improve our systems

-         Network troubleshooting

-         Network security and anti-virus procedures

-         Communicate effectively with management and employees to identify needs and evaluate issues if necessary

-         Maintain inventory of all systems

-         Implement backup strategies for file servers and critical workstations

-         Oversee all phone and computers systems firm wide

Qualifications and Extensive Knowledge:

-         Minimum of 3 + years experience, preferably in the securities industry.

-         Software applications such as Windows, Lotus Notes, and Act.

-         Experience with ILX, Thomson, Seccas, voice/data network, servers, Nortel and Cisco systems.

-         Experience with strategic planning, implementation, and systems integration.
