We have an immediate an opportunity for a IT Systems Engineer.
Responsibilities:
You will administer and maintain the IT Infrastructure ITIL-based processes and tools. Provides support for the problem, change, asset management and other IT processes.
Acts as subject matter expert for IT Service Desk application functionality and data integration activities.
Identifies and resolves technical issues/problems with application, its various interfaces and the supporting tools.
Gathers various reporting requirements and produces resultant reports.
Maintains asset management system and ensures accuracy.
Gathers and implements requirements from external user groups.
Develops standards and processes to support the problem, change and asset processes.
Recommends and establishes changes to policies and procedures.
Frequently interacts with customers and/or functional peer group managers.
Ability to work effectively and independently.
Provides support for the problem, change, asset and other IT processes.
Collects inventory and maintains asset management system and ensures its accuracy. Designing, developing, implementing and maintaining the IT Service Desk application (currently Remedy 7) and IT Infrastructure process applications (as needed.
Identify metrics being collected and ensure that measurement data is up to date and reported accurately.
Create and maintain process-related artifacts.
Well organized with project documentation and project administrative tasks

Experience/Skills
Bachelor's degree or Minimum of three years experience with designing, implementing and configuring BMC Remedy application systems equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience and training in ITIL, Six Sigma, CMMI, and and process improvement methodologies.
Experience in SQL Server. ITIL Foundation Certification is a plus.
Remedy Approved Consultant (RAC) or Remedy Skilled Professional (RSP) is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
