Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for an IT Technology Analyst on a CONTRACT opportunity with a leading company in the East Bay.

Job Duties

- Work with Tech Desk management business analysts and key business partners across the organization to identify departmental systems requiring support or replacement.

- As required, provide first level support for selected departmental systems. This work includes determination of problems, research on possible causes and supporting business customers in problem resolution

- Where necessary, work with Tech Desk management business analysts and key business partners across the organization to identify departmental systems to replace the system or re-direct support to a vendor

This position requires strong client focus, a process orientation, knowledge of IT support concepts, knowledge of a broad set of technologies and systems employed by various administrative business functions

Minimum 3 years experience as a specialist supporting departmental systems either as a Tech Desk specialist or in a like role

Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work on cross-functional teams and foster the team's commitment to tasks

Knowledge of IT support concepts, knowledge of a broad set of technologies and systems employed by various administrative business functions in departmental applications.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms and complex business concepts in technical terms

Self motivated and independent, able to work with a minimum of supervision and able to work well with stakeholders and project staff

Previous experience working with varied clients in supporting small departmental systems.
