We have an immediate need for an IT Technical Writer.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
IT Technical Writer
Contract position with Benefits
Located in Indianapolis, IN

POSITION:
IT Documenter and Technical Writer. Document/Subject topics to be provided by IT management. The candidate will interview subject matter experts to supplement personal knowledge to draft policy and standard documents. Draft documents will be taken thru a series of reviews to fine tune the content.

The candidate must be capable to take IT technical topics and thru a series of interviews, research and personal knowledge/experience draft IT policy and standards documents. The candidate will be provided access to subject matter experts but he/she must be capable to organize and conduct interviews both face to face and over the phone. One on one and group interviews are also possible.

General and specialized knowledge of IT technical topics including Infrastructure, Telecom, Security, Application Development, etc are required.

Candidate must have above average or superior command of English as all documents will be drafted in English.
