The firm's Information Technology department is seeking a Trainer to provide computer-training support to the San Francisco and Silicon Valley offices. The successful candidate will participate in the full range of training activities, including needs analysis, development of training outlines and curricula, and delivery of training. This position will also assist in the testing and evaluation of new software as required, and serve as a training resource to the various groups and departments within the Firm. The successful candidate will also work closely with the local Technical Support team, providing end-user desktop support when necessary.

Experience:
The successful candidate's previous experience must include strong knowledge of Windows XP-based systems, particularly the Microsoft Office suite - MS Office 2003 preferred. Familiarity with document management systems is highly desirable, as is prior experience in a legal setting. Candidates should have sufficient depth of technical knowledge to be able to troubleshoot software issues at an advanced level and must have excellent written and oral communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will exhibit a professional demeanor and display the ability to communicate clearly and easily with people at all levels within the company and must have experience in teaching in both a classroom environment and in one-on-one interactions. The ideal candidate must comprehend adult learning principles and adjust instructional methods to meet the needs of the students, have a high level of patience, commitment to quality, enthusiasm and reliability. He/She must be able to work in both San Francisco and Palo Alto on regular days during the week, on a schedule to be determined, as well as be available to travel to other offices on an occasional basis if required. Candidates should be self-motivated and organized, able to work independently to meet goals and deadlines, be a team player, and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel under pressure.
