<b>General</b>
Responsible for the definition, roll-out and management of common, ITIL-based Release, Availability & Capacity, Change management processes throughout GMAC Corporate Operations (Corp)

<b>Change Management</b>
- Responsible for controlling changes to all configuration items within production environment
- Manage GMAC Corp Change Advisory Board (CAB) process; create and implement common processes across existing CABs
- Manage the GMAC Corp Urgent Change Control process
·Manage process to ensure each change is done with full awareness of all impacted organizations
·Responsible for providing process training and access to process participants and stakeholders.
·Collaborate with peers
- Participate in the planning and defining activities for GMAC/GM Global Change Management Database (CMDB)
- Participate as stakeholder to appropriate GMAC/GM CABs
- Participate in GMAC/GMChange Management process as GMAC Corp Stakeholder for GM-initiated production changes.

<b>Architectural Compliance</b>
Responsible for ensuring architectural compliance of production environments

<b>Release Management</b>
- Responsible for overseeing the successful roll-out of new systems or major hardware and software releases
- Responsible for management of contractor resource
- Document, maintain and publish Production Enablement processes and checklists
- Ensure system readiness process is followed for all GMAC Corp Portfolio development projects, to ensure effective transition to production operations.
- Interface and participate with Application Development teams on all GMAC Corp Portfolio development projects
- Participate in Project Tollgates as Stakeholder for GMAC Corp ITG Operations
- Manage and publish the GMAC Corp Master Release Schedule; investigate, resolve, and escalate conflicts

<b>Availability & Capacity Management</b>
- Responsible for Production Change/Scheduling process and tools, including license compliance, software compliance, upgrade requirements, and outsourced-development resources
- Lead efforts to implement standardized work processes, including updates or replacements of existing tools
- Define, review and approve metric calculations, metric reports and service levels
- Proactively recognize trends in process-related issues
- Based on trends, make process improvement recommendations

<b>Tools & Metrics</b>

Experience/Skills
<b>CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS</b>

<b>Required</b>
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (information systems, computer science, business)
- ITIL Certification
- 3 – 5 years Project Management Experience
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to coordinate and collaborate with diverse group of stakeholders with often conflicting needs and requirements.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in information technology role
- Experience managing all deployment activities of the systems development life cycle
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and initiatives
- Ability to effective resolve conflicts
- Prior experience in managing supplier relationships
- Ability to build high impact teams to work well as a unit and cooperate with other related work teams.

<b>Preferred</b>
· An understanding of the Financial Services industry
· Strong experience with internet technologies and deployment methodologies
· Strong experience with application development life cycle methodologies
