Currently, we are seeking a Business Architect to work in the IT Services (ITS) Enterprise Architecture team. The Business Architect’s main responsibilities are to:

  • Work with ITS teams and business leaders to understand and document K-C’s business process hierarchy, organization, and business strategies. Identify synergies and redundancies across the Corporation
  • Actively participate with ITS teams on developing integrated business and technology strategies
  • Support project teams in architecting and building robust solutions based on enterprise architecture principles, standards, and roadmaps
  • Develop Enterprise Architecture (EA) processes and maintain EA repository components to ensure alignment between the business strategies and application/technology roadmaps
  • Develop and be an advocate for the overall enterprise architecture, including business architecture, information architecture, application portfolio and technical architecture
  • Facilitate development of cross-line of business (enterprise) solutions that combine knowledge of particular business processes and issues, general technological options, and process facilitation techniques
  • Develop and maintain an effective network with professionals in similar roles, research institutions and industry user groups to leverage / share best practices
  • Contribute to an environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their individual differences and are motivated to improve both their individual and team contributions to achieve desired business results.

    Primary Qualifications

  • A Bachelors degree with 15 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree relative to the position with 12 years of relevant experience required
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills; ability to create original concepts and theories for a variety of projects
  • Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and reasoning skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
  • Ability to work independently
  • Motivated by long-term results

    Desired qualifications:

  • Experience in a multi-national organization with multiple lines of business
  • Experience with Enterprise Architecture modeling tools such as ARIS
  • Experience with Enterprise Architecture frameworks like TOGAF or Zachmandf-tc
