ITS Business Partner to Transportation group. We are looking for solid business acumen in the Transportation area. Experiences in the wide range of shipper related transportation business processes like pricing, mode and vendor optimization, tendering, freight invoice approval, performance monitoring, and global shipment planning is a plus. ITS Transportation Vision, Strategy and Roadmap development and Portfolio management from a technology standpoint. Accountable for requirements gathering and definition. Supports Transportation applications and System and works with internal and external delivery teams to deliver systems solutions in support of the Transportation group. Responsibilities include alignment of ITS and business strategy; managing a portfolio of technology needs aligned with the business strategy; bringing value-adding information technology ideas to corporate transportation clients; working with clients to define requirements related to ITS projects; working with external consultants, peer companies and software vendors to understand and influence ITS direction in specific transportation areas; and generally serving as a liaison between the business an ITS.

Provide advanced level consulting services to various business units and ITS teams to ensure technology investments support and enhance the corporation's strategic objectives. Provide insight into future technology and industry directions which may impact Kimberly-Clark. Make recommendations and contribute to expanding K-Cs knowledge base such that customers and ITS developers have the information to implement effective solutions. Consult with other in-house experts, outside research agencies and vendors on optimal strategies for technology deployment. Project planning for IT delivery and applications support for the Transportation technology portfolio 3-5 years out.

Maintain expertise through self-directed study, contacts, and conferences. Provide advanced technical or business leadership within ITS. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key personnel, within the company as well as key vendor personnel in order to keep abreast of their medium and long-range strategic planning. Execute effective formal and informal communications techniques with principal and ITS staff in order to report status, solve problems, make recommendations, and publish standards and direction.

Contribute to an environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their individual differences and are motivated to improve both their individual and team contributions to achieve desired business results. Participate in the development of strategic plans. Ensure that the strategic direction of the company is followed in tactical decisions which will result in improved profitability, improved operating efficiency, and increased administrative control.

A Bachelors degree with 10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 or more years of applied experience required
