Application Systems /IVR Application Developer
Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop and/or modify moderately complex integration of applications and solutions across the enterprise (corporation).
Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents and maintains those programs.
Competent to work most phases of application systems analysis/programming activities. Familiar with a variety of the fields concept, practices, and procedures.
Works under general supervision; typically reports to a team lead or supervisor/manager.

Responsibilities and duties include:
?Analyzing, designing, developing, deploying, maintaining, and supporting IVR self service and routing applications written using the Nortel Peri Pro IVR application development environment and making use of the Nuance Voice Recognition (VR) engine as part of approved IT projects or small maintenance efforts.
?Functioning as a Subject Matter Expert to provide technical application solution management for Enterprise and interfacing Vendors.
?Providing on-call support for the teams supported applications.
?Developing and maintaining IVR self service application support documentation.
?Providing technical leadership for software application planning, requirements, development, testing, issue resolution, implementation, and support for customer service applications.

Minimum Experience


Requires 5 years experience in Interactive Voice Response development platforms and Sun Solaris. Requires 3 years experience with CRON, CTI, and C-Shell Scripting.

This position requires an IVR application developer who is an expert in the design, development, deployment, and production support of critical self service applications in a 24x7 environment.
