IXOS Software Engineer

Software Engineer for the IXOS infrastructure. Installation, configuration and support of the IXOS infrastructure in a regulatory compliant yet dynamic 24x7 global environment. Use structured approach to isolating and diagnosing problems. Plan and execute infrastructure changes with minimal disruption. Architect and deliver innovative solutions through collaboration with partners and customers. Manage stakeholder communications on any given project, problem, or change. Performance tuning of software. Ensure service level monitoring and reporting in place for each environment. Ensure monitoring of the software is in place and that procedures, documentation, and training is provided to enable support groups to isolate, diagnose, escalate and resolve issues. Candidate will have on call schedule and carry a pager.

5-7 years of prior hands-on IXOS experience. Strong knowledge of HP UNIX and Windows operating systems. Customer focused with strong written and verbal skills. Operates well in a 24x7 environment with on-call schedules and pagers. Follows standard operating procedures and work instructions and takes training as necessary. Operates in a manner consistent with government regulations, company security and internal control policies. Understands financial principles and the budgeting process. Understands pharmaceutical industry dynamics. Reactively applies that knowledge when making decisions. Incorporates new ideas and knowledge of current trends and events in information technology to project the future business environment. Able to simplify complex issues and create actionable plans to address those issues. Anticipates how events and trends might precipitate future business alternatives. Is able to envision what is possible.
