Description
Primary role:
Provides corrective and preventive maintenance for imaging and imaging related equipment used throughout the Duke University Health System (DUHS).

Essential tasks/responsibilities:
- Reports to Operations Manager, Imaging Engineering.
- Provides the highest levels of customer service.
- Ensure that DUHS complies with all local, state and federal requirements.
- Maintain, repair, and document service records for equipment in general imaging modalities.
- Perform and document system calibrations/preventative maintenance.
- Comply with and support organization policies and procedures.
- Maintain common failure parts inventory to ensure equipment uptime.
- Maintain and demonstrate professional competency according to department policies, procedures and protocols.
- Provide off hours on-call coverage and work OT as required to ensure equipment uptime.
- Assist in maintaining proper test tools and equipment.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Education/training
Required:
Work requires an Associate Degree in Applied Science of Technology,
Vocational Training or equivalent military education.

Experience
Required:
Work requires one year servicing of medical imaging equipment and/or
completion of Diagnostic Imaging training courses.
