TITLE: Systems / QA Analyst
Seeking an experienced systems analyst to join our development team. The position is responsible as the main analyst on various small development projects and for testing software applications for both small and large systems projects.
The position will report to the Development Manager in Westlake Village, CA.

EXPERIENCE:
Successful candidates will be have 3-5 years of experience as a systems analyst and be familiar with a variety testing and quality control concepts, practices, and procedures. Experience in wholesale distribution or retail industry is a plus.
Desired experience includes:
Interviewing business leaders to develop systems requirements
Documenting functional systems requirements
Working with development teams to develop software to meet specifications.
Developing and conducting QC tests on business software
Training end users on software applications
Excellent oral communication and facilitation skills
Working knowledge of relational databases and client-server concepts
Must be experienced in MS SQL and MS Access.( Required)
Able to read Visual Basic and C++ is a plus.( Not required)
Must be proficient using Word, Excel, Power point and outlook
Must be flexible and able to perform varied tasks based upon the needs of the business

JOB DESCRIPTION IN REGARDS TO ROLES THIS PERSON WIL UNDERTAKE:

Systems Analyst
Review, analyze and evaluate business systems and user needs for SPEAKS (Profit Center business intelligence system) and e-commerce system.
Review, analyze, and modify programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support application systems
Work with development team to ensure understanding of the requirements and perform acceptance testing
Consult with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify project requirements
Write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding and corrections
Design user interface screens that are intuitive and conform to user operating objectives and procedures
Design Microsoft Visio data, application, and process flowcharts, to graphically capture the essential components of software applications and processes
