Description
Position Summary:

The EAS Implementation Consultant will support customers and prospects in their evaluation, implementation, and use of EAS. The primary role is in the analysis, customization, and implementation of EAS for customers. The Consultant will also assist in the sales process by installing proof of concept systems and conducting joint testing with the prospect as well as assisting on proposals and developing architectures and suggested project plans for the proposed implementations. This person needs to leverage IT or consulting/system integration experience doing product installs and in implementing IT messaging infrastructure for large organizations.

Responsibilities:

EAS Resource learn and become an expert on the EAS product.
Architecture Planning develop and implement custom architectures for EAS at customer sites.
Needs Analysis Conduct needs analysis at customer sites and develop project plans based on results.
Technical planning work with prospect and customer technical staff to develop the hardware and software requirements for EAS implementations and the required project tasks to effect that implementation.
Proof of concepts & develop test cases and deliver on site proof of concept engagements and pilots; serve as liaison between IT and line of business users to identify system functionality, product gaps, and enhancement requirements.
Support & work with clients and support team to classify, prioritize, troubleshoot and resolve technical and business issues during implementations.
Install and configure the EAS application.

Skills and Experience Required:
? University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical field.
? 4-7 years industry experience in implementing complex products.
? Experience working with sales teams on complex projects.
? MCSE or Notes/Domino System Administrator (Exams 620, 621, and 622) certification.
? MCP and MCSA certifications.
? Experience with Windows servers, IIS, Exchange Servers or Domino Servers.
? Proven hands on technical ability with databases designing schema and developing SQL code.
? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills coupled with strong project execution skills.
? Excellent written and verbal skills.
? Ability to understand business requirements and objectives.
? Ability to work independently or within a team.
Superior software engineering problem solving skills and judgment.


Qualifications:

? 7+ years technical experience within a Fortune 500 IT department (or as a consultant responsible for these implementations), including messaging enterprise implementation and rollouts, especially with Exchange and/or Notes servers.
? Knowledge of strategies and operational issues associated with storage, quotas, consolidation, high availability, disaster recovery, RACS, clustering, and others.
? Large scale messaging architecture specification and design.
? Understanding of software development process and methodologies.
? Oracle and/or SQL Server dba and/or administration/performance tuning experience.
? Enterprise (over 10,000 seats) rollout, administration, and management experience with Exchange or Notes.
? Experience in the implementation, management, or operational support of
o Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Active Directory, POP, IMAP, LDAP
o Email packages, specifically Exchange (5.5. 2000, 2003), Notes (5.0 and 6.x)
o SQL, MS-SQL (7.0 and 2000), Oracle (9+)
o Outlook, SharePoint
o Active Directory
? IT Security, audit, compliance experience.
? Infrastructure monitoring, system performance monitoring, MOM experience.
? Storage (Centera, NetApp, R200, StorageTek, etc.) architecture, implementation, or support experience.
? Software product company experience, especially in a professional services organization.
? Team lead experience.
? Candidate will be required to travel extensively in North America.
