Job Title: Implementation Specialist I

SUMMARY
Customizes banking or remittance processing software according the customers acceptance criteria. Installs system at customers site; trains customer on operating procedures and the use of computer resources (work stations and computer servers); provides product and service information to customer. Works with WFS support team to resolve product and service problems and communicates project status to customer.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1.Prepares customer system by customizing base software application and entering customer specific data according to acceptance criteria specifications. Confirms system operation by conducting tests, modifying custom setup, and monitoring output.
2.Documents and communicates the status and related issues of the installation to WFS Project Manager, sales, customer and other team members.
3.Documents daily updates and forwards information onto customer and WFS team members.
4.Conducts user training sessions and provides procedural guides to customer.
5.Works with on-site implementation team to help maintain project schedule and assist in resolving problems.
6.Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
7.Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customers complaint; determines the cause of the problem; selects and explains the best solution to solve the problem; expedites correction or adjustment; follows up to ensure resolution.
8.Recommends work standards by studying operational requirements and methods; identifying improvements; communicating suggestions to customers or team members.
9.Builds basic hardware systems to standard specifications, confirms system operation by conducting tests and monitoring outputs.
10.Researches and diagnoses problems related to hardware, operating systems and network.
11.Works with implementation team to configure products to meet customer expectations.
12.Tests systems prior to delivery to ensure a quality product.

13.Provides feedback to improve processes and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate Degree or higher in information technology, computer science, business administration, or in lieu of formal education equivalent work experience.
1-year work experience in customer service, computer support and/or system implementation.
1 year formal or informal training experience is preferred.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality in daily work and completing sufficient quantity of work as defined by WFS.
Strong communication skills to convey information clearly and concisely in both verbal and written form.
Proven interaction skills to maintain harmonious relationships with co-workers and customers under stressful circumstances.
Ability to maintain composure in high stress situations.
Analytical ability and aptitude for working with detailed data.
Ability to adapt to change and exercise flexibility in meeting customer needs.
Ability to apply a creative and solution-based approach to solve complex problems.
Knowledge of banking or remittance processing.
Knowledge of computer software and hardware.
Proven Time Management skills.
