The Implementation Specialists hired will assist Program staff in implementing a large scale Automation Project, including the fiscal components. Specifically, the Implementation Specialists will work with ACS project staff in conducting and documenting the following activities:


State and local level analysis and assessment of impacted functions, work processes and case flows


Preparation and planning of New York City (ACS) and voluntary agencies for optimal use of procedures

Identification of organizational, logistical procedural impacts and modifications.

Plans of site specific implementation, including data integrity tasks to clean-up erroneous case data

Development of preparation guides, readiness checklists, and action items

On Site assistance during implementation

Review of readiness and preparation activities for performance improvement measures

Follow-up support and on site technical assistance

Mandatory Requirements

Note: Candidates not meeting the following mandatory requirements will not be considered for further evaluation:

1. Associates Degree

2. Minimum of two years experience in data processing, industrial engineering, or a related field.

3. Two years of IT hardware, software and systems installation experience.

Desirable Experience Preferred for These Positions

1. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

2. Minimum of two years experience providing on-site implementation assistance for a large scale automation effort.

3. Minimum of two years experience in Change Management planning and implementation change.

4. Ability to demonstrate an understanding of local district cash flows, agency cash flows and their impacts on one another, to facilitate communication between contract agencies, local social services district/payments and district/Claiming.

5. Minimum of two years experience in Child Welfare system in New York State, local district, or voluntary agency in New York State or another state.df-tc
