Description
Our client employs 50,000 team members worldwide and is a leader in the development, manufacture and distribution of a diversified line of products, systems and services used in the healthcare field. The company is currently in need of an Indigo Systems Engineer for an 8 months contract opportunity. This role will participate in the development of a new dialysis device and will receive direction and guidance from the lead systems engineer on the project.

Responsibilities:
- Participate as a team member in the development of the Indigo PD system.
- Provide feedback and input to the development of the System Requirements Specification.
- Provide feedback and input to the development of the System Architecture.
- Create the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for the system.
- Create the System Interface Requirements for the system.
- Create the Risk Analysis for the system.
- Maintain the Technical Risk Analysis for the project.

Qualifications:
- Experience in Risk Management including ISO14974 and EN1441
- Experience in developing and critically reviewing requirements specifications
- Experience in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
- Experience with general systems engineering techniques and analysis
- Experience with DOORS requirements tool preferred

Education/Experience:
- BS in Engineering
- 5 to 10 years experience developing medical devices df-tc
