Description
Summary
Provides non-technical support and technical support on all the department's security programs and processes. This includes, but is not limited to, processing computer access forms, password resets, security model updates, logonid terminations, monitoring and reviewing access violation and security maintenance reports, and other duties as assigned. Analyzes business and/or technical requirements to formulate a project plan. Performs analyses and issues resolutions of business and project requirements.

Responsibilities
Works independently with minimum direct supervision. Performs day-to-day Information Security functions pertaining to computer access control on numerous security software products and processes to include but not limited to establishment and maintenance of logonids, models, profiles, access rules, terminations, monitoring access violations and security maintenance reports, and quarterly reviews. Responds to all incoming telephone calls in a courteous manner within established TSYS telephone policy. Provides On-Call support for assigned systems under the responsibility of the Information security Department. Reviews audit recommendations and request, analyze the problems and initiate recommendations for compliance and/or alternatives to department management. Uses project management software and project management skills to manage and report on task required for successful completion of projects assigned by supervisor. Begins to mentor new employees. Performs other duties as assigned by Management.

Education/Experience
Four year college degree and 2 or more years professional experience or 4 or more years professional experience is required. Experience in some or all of the following areas is preferred: Mainframe terminal accesses, logical security experience (including ACF2, Tandem, Network, Firewalls, Intrusion Detection, and Encryption), PC-based Windows experience, Microsoft Word experience. Unix Security Administration is required.

Preferred Skills: Extensive customer relations experience and customer Help Desk experience preferred.

Additional Information: This is a 1st shift position with on call rotation - 1 week every 6 weeks.
