Description
Duties: With limited direction assists with the development, implementation, monitoring and maintenance of all information security standards, policies, and procedures. Ensures compliance to corporate Information Security policies department briefing sessions, security education, and other methods as appropriate. Provides consultative services to department management and IT project teams to help raise awareness of Information Security issues and concerns affecting the corporation. Participates in the system/application development life cycle to ensure Information Security processes and concepts are incorporated into all applicable systems and software. Ensures appropriate and timely responses are provided on all Audit concerns, and participates in the timely resolution of open audit concerns. Acts a mentor to less experienced colleagues. Provides Information Security training and/or briefings to all employee levels as required. Provides On-Call support for assigned systems under the responsibility of the Department. Demonstrates a broad knowledge of the multiple environments. Recognizes the inter-relationships between the various functional components of the systems and the business, technical and project requirements. May coordinate and schedule project assignments within the team environment as needed. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills: Four year college degree and 4 or more years professional experience or 6 or more years professional experience is required. Requires a minimum of four years experience in an information technology field with a focus on information security. Financial services business experience. Familiarity with VISA/MasterCard, FFIEC, Gramm-Leach Bliely, Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPPA and government security audit programs. A strong technical background specifically in large scale Microsoft Active Directory deployments and administration; also a working knowledge of various information security and related products and concepts including, but not limited to security compliance, ITSEC, BS7799, ISO17799, FIPS140 access control and encryption standards LAN/WAN networking architectures, Internet/Intranet (firewalls, WEB sites, and browsers), and virus controls. Extensive customer relation experience required. Must have Project Management skills, strong documentation skills and the ability to work with diverse business units.

Preferred Skills: CISSP Certification, CA-eTrust Access Control experience. Security Risk Assessment Skills. Master?s level degree in related IT or Security Assurance field preferred. Customer Help Desk experience. Experience in some or all of the following area is preferred: mainframe terminal accesses, ACF2/RACF, HP/Tandem, Networking, Firewalls, Intrusion Detection, Oracle/SQL Server databases, C/C++ programming, PATHWAY programming and PKI Encryption.df-tc
