Lead a technical team on projects of a complex nature with duties of instructing, directing, and overseeing/leading the technical work of other team members. Provide team members with full technical knowledge of all necessary phases of the project. Serve as a point of escalation for team members issues requiring a higher degree of expertise or discretion to resolve and ensure timely resolution. Responsible for quality assurance review of the project and the evaluation and documentation of team procedures.

Experience/Skills
**PREFER LOCAL CANDIDATES**
Minimum of seven years of programming experience on VAX/ALPHA machines.
Minimum of five years experience with COBOL/OpenVMS.
Must have hands-on experience in FMS, Datatrieve, CMS, COBOL, DCL, RMS and DecForms.
Experience with usage of System Services and Run-time Library Functions on OpenVMS.
Knowledge of "C" programming is a plus. CORBA experience is a plus.
Experience with source management tools, CMS/ MMS.
