We have been retained by an Orange County client to locate them an Informatica/Database Analyst.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the Director, Data Warehouse the Database Analyst will analyze, design and implement technical solutions to address service requests and meet the requirements for large scale business projects.
Responsible to work with various project team members to develop and implement database applications software specifically in the areas of Erwin and Informatica.
Provide support in the areas of meta-data repository administration, database analysis and design with OLAP and OLTP databases.
Design, develop, and maintain, database level application software within Oracle.
Provide support in the areas of OLAP tool development, support and administration specifically in the areas of Microstrategy, SAS, SPSS, Brio, or any OLAP reporting tool.
The individual within a project team organization will perform database design specifications, support SQL scripts maintenance, changes and testing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design, develop and maintain an efficient Data Warehouse production environment to ensure all Data Warehouse SLAs are met.
Design, develop and maintain relational database integrity, integration and migration schemes utilizing company standard applications (Informatica, Database Tools, Unix scripts, etc.).
Coordinate new data development and make sure it is consistent and well integrated with existing databases.
Design, develop and support the company's Data Warehouse Transformation and Load process.
Design, develop and maintain logical mappings using Informatica.
Analyze and develop database specific scripts.
Assist in the design of key and indexing schemes.
Document database level scripts, triggers, alerts, transformations, etc with the database.
Coordinate enhancements and maintenance of the database (OLAP or OLTP) and structural changes when necessary.
Communicate project expectations to end users and ensure all commitment dates for key project/SR deliverables are met.
Analyze and document user requirements to create an efficient design for all Data Warehouse enhancement requests.

QUALIFICATIONS:

3+ years experience with SQL Plus, PL/SQL, SQL, Transact SQL.
3+ years experience entity relationship data modeling.
3+ years experience in the areas of Data Warehousing and Financial Applications a plus.
1-3 years experience with Informatica.
1-3 years experience with Microstrategy.
Experience with network integration with TCP/IP, SQL Net, ODBC.

Salary of up to $90,000, depending on experience and exceptional benefits package offered.
