Position Description:

The Informatica ETL Developer is a position requiring demonstrated experience using the Informatica Suite of tools including Power Center and Power Exchange as well as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). This position will develop Extract, Transformation and Loading (ETL) procedures for implementing data integration and data migration tasks in support of Data Warehousing and other data integration projects. In addition to new development, responsibilities will also include support of operations and maintenance, as well as 24x7 production supports on a rotational basis.
Collaboration skills with technical team members and customers is important to assist in developing user requirements from both internal and external clients into functional capability that will represent the client to external parties and provide assurance of the clients management of resources.

The Data Analyst (ETL Developer) will be supporting the Transmission Asset System project in developing data integration solutions using orchestration and/or point-to-point solutions. Experience using BizTalk (for orchestration) and Informatica or SQL Server Integration Services (for point-to-point) is required, as well as relational and dimensional modeling experience.

  • EAI experience using Microsoft BizTalk
  • Microsoft 2005/2008 SQL Integration Services
  • Data Warehousing design techniques
  • Data analysis, source system analysis and data mapping
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008
  • Windows Server 2003
