Description
Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. Perot Systems is currently looking for an Information Architect to join our team in Phoenix, AZ.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to business requirement definitions.
  • Analyze and reconcile user, business, and technical needs *Contribute to the development of use cases and business process flows relative to application or website being designed.
  • Understand customer needs by leading user persona/scenario workshops and user research effort.
  • Create detailed navigation flows and site maps.
  • Facilitate the creation of information hierarchies for site navigation.
  • Produce detailed wireframes and design specifications that capture process flows and all user interaction points with the system
  • Design consistent information hierarchy on both a system-wide level and a page-by-page or screen-by-screen level adhering to design uniformity within and across projects.
  • Participate in design team meetings and project team meetings.
  • Evaluate existing and new designs for IA quality and consistency.
  • Act as an integration point/liaison to the customer.
  • Explain or defend design decisions from a user perspective to core project team members, clients, and business partners.
  • Participate in the standardization and streamlining of IA documentation and processes.
  • Define project process including but not limited to schedules, meetings, change requests, bug-tracking, deadlines, scope, resource hours, and deliverables, in conjunction with other project leads.
  • Ensure scalability of design on projects according to respective platform.

    Required Skills:
  • 1 plus years of experience in an information architect, usability analyst, or interface designer type role.

  • 1 plus years of experience with web development tools such as Visio, Powerpoint, Dreamweaver, or Go Live.

  • Demonstrated strong creative vision for organizing interactive information systems.
  • Experience working according to user-centered design process and methodology.


    • Desired Skills:
  • Experience working in a web portal environment place 1st desired skill.

  • Experience with Java and ASP preferred.


    • Minimum Educational Requirements:
  • BS in Human Computer Interaction or related field.
