Information Architect/Engineer

Responsibilities will include:
· Understanding target users' needs and other motivating factors and translating them into concepts for compelling interactions and experiences
· Design and develop user interaction workflow, information architecture and document individual feature requirements using working and/or paper prototypes
· Organize content and develop categories, naming schemes and navigational hierarchies to ensure intuitive user experiences
· Plan, Design and conduct user research activities surveys, as well as data analysis of customer usage data
· Conduct reviews of existing applications, based on usability best practices, and prepare reports of findings and recommendations
· Develop personas and fictional scenarios to guide concept development
· Create usability test plans and recruit users, and manage and run tests and analyze data

The qualified candidate will possess the following:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Factors, Psychology, Human-computer Interaction, Interaction Design or similar field, or equivalent experience, Master’s degree preferred
· Minimum 2 years of UX design experience with a Master’s degree, or 4+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree
· Strong understanding of information architecture, interface design, usability and user research
· Experience with software and Internet development methodologies, including user-centered design
· Broad knowledge of consumer electronic appliances, including internet technologies, sensor technologies, content management tools, IPTV, e-commerce and portal services, profiling and personalization systems, and community and customer service applications
· Proficient in MS Office and PowerPoint; Statistical Program such as SPSS or SAS a plus
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· Strong critical thinking and problem solving abilities
· Strong time management and multi-tasking skillsdf-tc
