What you need for this position:

- Active DHS secret clearance
- Minimum 7 years of Information Assurance Experience including evaluating, testing, certification and accreditation of classified and sensitive but unclassified information systems.
- Evidenced experience with hands on implementation of COTS Linux network products and COT/GOTS cross-domain solutions to include reviewing and analysing a variety of security logs.
- Experience with analysis and evaluation of both hardware and software in support of Intelligence Community (IC), DHS, in addition to Federal Sector Government Agencies.
- Exposure to FISMA framework
- The candidate must be results oriented, self-motivated and possess effective communication skills

What you'll be doing:

- Responsible for creating DHS Information System Certification and Accreditation (C&A) Process.
- Provide security expertise to create the required documentation and put the required project components thru the security process to receive IATO Status.
- Ensuring systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with internal security policies and practices outlined in the security plan.
- Ensuring that all users have the requisite security clearances, authorization, and need-to-know, and are aware of their security responsibilities before granting access to the Information System (IS).
