Description
Candidate will: 1) be responsible for ensuring systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with internal security policies and practices; 2) ensure all users are aware of their security responsibilities before granting access to the IS; 3) initiate, with the approval of the ISSM, protective or corrective measures when a security incident or vulnerability is discovered; 4) conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance with the ISSM Security Checklist and Information Assurance Standards and perform security testing to validate that the C2ISR information systems comply with the security requirements stated in the SSAA as required; 5) ensure Configuration Management (CM) policy and processes are followed; 6) responsible for reviewing, archiving and monitoring system audit logs; 7) ensure all IS security related requirements are addressed during all phases of the system life cycle; 8) maintain a repository for all system certification and accreditation documentation, modification documentation, and ensuring that all security related documentation is current and accessible properly authorized personnel; 9) provide security certification and accreditation services as required; 10) develop technical and security documentation to support the successful certification and accreditation testing for C2ISR information systems when required; 11) apply information systems security principles to network protocols, architectures, equipment, services, standards, and technology ensuring security requirements are identified and information systems are developed and implemented with required security features and safeguardsdf-tc
