Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. Perot Systems is currently looking for an Information Security Analyst to join our team in Palo Alto, CA.

Job Responsibilities:
The Information Security Analyst performs daily operational security tasks, including reviewing logs and alerts. The Analyst will:
  • Mine data from a wide variety of data sources and consolidate the information into daily, weekly and monthly reports.
  • Participate in forensic activities and response.
  • Monitor the security queue and request management system.
  • Handle special requests from IT and end users to meet account SLA's and performance measures.

    Required Skills:
  • 3+ years of experience in information security service delivery.
  • 3+ years experience with any of the following scripting tools: Visual Basic, Perl, WSH, Ruby
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Intermediate experience with Excel and other MSOffice tools.

    Desired Skills:
  • Past experience in the preparation of risk analysis
  • Participated in past deployments of security tools
  • Operational experience with security tools

    Minimum Educational Requirements:
  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. Relevant experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.

    Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:
  • CISSP, CISM, GIAC, Security + or other recognized Security certifications preferred, but not required.
