Description
The Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta is one of 12 district banks in the Federal Home Loan Bank System. The $146 billion financial services organization provides low-cost financing, community development grants, and other banking services to more than 1,200 financial institutions in the Southeast.

We are currently seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst to play a major role in electronic information security on a bank-wide basis.

The position is responsible for many aspects of information security such as assessing security risks and controls, ensuring the Bank?s compliance with applicable regulations, and collaborating with server engineers, client support, and software development staff. This high-visibility role requires the creativity and flexibility to adopt new projects and responsibilities while working closely with different areas of the organization.

Your specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

? Performing security risk assessments to identify risks and recommend compensating controls
? Assisting in writing and implementing security-related policies, procedures, and standards
? Coordinating and distributing the Bank's information security awareness program
? Investigating and documenting security incidents and reporting them to management
? Daily processing of requests for user access to Bank systems/platforms
? Managing information security projects to help automate and enhance processes
? Working with business units and project teams to implement security in a proactive manner

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or other business disciplines along with 4+ years of computer-related and/or data security experience, to include knowledge of security software and programming. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be accepted. Security Information Certification (CISSP, CISM, CISA, or GIAC) would be a plus! Excellent interpersonal, presentation skills, and project management skills are also required, as you will act as a liaison for other departments, participate on committees, and communicate regularly with management.
