We are currently seeking an Information Security Analyst for a contract with an initial term of 6 months based in Durham, NC.

Summary:

The Information Security Analyst is a security expert responsible for safeguarding Fidelity Brokerage Company (FBC) assets by creating security policies, procedures, and systems in support of the enterprise-wide information risk management plan. As a key member of the FBC-Technology Information Security Group, the candidate will report to the Information Security Office (ISO) and assist in the execution of the Information Security program. The candidate will be responsible for security administration for several groups with in the company.

Responsibilities:
Providing security consulting and analysis to ensure information security concerns are addressed.
Audit business functions- to ensure compliance with corporate policy.
Review/approve correspondent- and advisor processes relating to security policy, process, procedure and functionality.
Provide liaison services between business and systems.
Facilitate access to enable business testing and production- conversion .
Review and approve security logic used in web and mainframe- interfaces.
Document/communicate process and procedures.-
Troubleshoot correspondent and advisor security and access issues.
Participate in Audit reviews and investigations as required.
Document and maintain correspondent and Advisor profiles to ensure appropriate access.
Develop procedures and documentation for use within the department and by the business.
Develop access request forms/procedures for use by the- business and clients.
Communicate updates to forms, policies, and- procedures to the business and clients.
Liaise with Business Implementation functions to ensure smooth client conversions and de-conversions.
Review and approve correspondent and 3rd party vendor connectivity requirements to ensure security and compliance with corporate policies. (Secure Single Sign On, Citrix, etc).
Develop and present security-related classes for the NF/FRIAG/FCM employees servicing the clients.
Prepare documentation and training materials for employees and- clients.
Provide one-on-one and group training for employees and- clients.
Maintain/enhance security-related information on company website.
Communication of important security-related information to Clients and Advisors.
Participate in the development of customer RFPs and SLAs, and responses to customer security questionnaires.

Experience/Skills
Skills & Knowledge
Four year college degree or equivalent work experience
At least 5 years of related experience in project management, business analysis, systems, and financial services
Broad IT knowledge specifically in areas of information security, risk management and audit.
Previous experience working in a security or audit environment and/or Security certification a plus; CISSP, CISA, CISM
Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong project management
Ability to work with most levels of the organization
Understands technical architectures, applications and infrastructure
Ability to analyze business issues and develop solutions
Able to communicate technical concepts to staff and management
Ability to multi-task and attention to detail a must
