Beran Group is searching for: Information Security Specialist

Location: New Jersey
Start Date: Immediately
Contract: 1 yr with possible extension

Description / Responsibilities
** Consultation on secured application desing & implementation
** Thorough understanding of technology, tools, policies
** In depth knowledge of the client applications, functions & systems
** Validate application's compliance with policies ansd standards
** Perform vulnerability & Attack & Penetration assesments in Internet, intranet & wireless environments
** Identify & determine causes of security violations & recommend corrective actions to ensure data security
** Identify regulatory & tecnnology changes that will affect information security, policies, standards, procedures & recommend appropraite changes
** Provide knowledge sharing & technical assistance to othermembers

Must Have Skills:
** Must hold or actively pursuing realted professional certificates such as CISSP, CISM or CISA
** 3+ years strong security skills related to application design & implemetation
** Security testing of web based applications & handeld devices
** Deep undestanding of web based application vunerabiltiy
** Application security source code assesments
** Attack & penetration testing
** Strenght with programming languages such as Java, Java script, C, C++, C#, ASP & .Net
** Good communication skills


Nice to Have Skills:
** Application Development
** Manual Attack & Penetration testing experience above & beyond running automated tools
** Experience developing custom scripts
