Description
General Position Description:
Responsible for developing and maintaining all aspects of Dreyers’s EDI capabilities. Responsible for managing and supporting daily operations of the EDI systems. Works with Business Analysts and customer contacts to define requirements and implementation schedules.

Position Requirements:
Knowledge (technical skills, educational background, and required work experience):
? Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems or equivalent business experience.
? 2-3 year’s experience with Gentran / EDI.
? Demonstrated experience at implementing projects from start to finish.
Skills:
(Describe dimensions/competency as they apply to the position):
? Solid understanding of EDI formatting and methods of interface.
? EDI mappings using the Gentran Translator.
? Maintain EDI specific configurations such as partner profiles, EDI ports, EDI administration
? Gentran Archiving
? Solid understanding of SQL,Perl programming and Shell scripting

Position Responsibilities:

? Work with Business Analysts and customer contacts to define requirements and implementation schedules
? Bring issues to closure in a timely basis
? Research and resolve any EDI issues
? Create/Modify EDI maps
? Assist users to resolve issues of missing data
