What you need for this position:

- TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly
- Familiar with full life-cycle security activities (from Requirements to O&M).
- Expert in network security, network tools and their capabilities.
- Expert understanding of network architectures and security vulnerabilities associated with network elements.
- Strong understanding of business security practices and procedures
- You should have experience with software architecture and should be familiar with both SOA and network security methods.
- The ISSE should be able to work across several teams and be able to look holistically across the entire CND architecture.

What you'll be doing:

- You will be responsible for looking across several NSA I71 efforts to include Computer Network Defense, Attack Analysis, Best Practices, Network Operations, Vulnerability and Asset management, and several other related activities.
- You will work with systems engineers and system architects to understand and design security solutions both across each individual effort as well as the integration of all efforts into a consolidated CND architecture.
- Gathering and organizing technical information about an organization's mission goals and needs, existing security products, and ongoing programs in the Security arena.
- Performing risk analyses that also include risk assessment.
- Providing support to plan, coordinate, and implement the organization's information security.
- Providing support for facilitating and helping agencies identify their current security infrastructure and define future programs
